State Oversize/Overweight Permits

Single Trip Permits
Single trip permits are the most common OS/OW permit needed. This permit is from a single origin to a single destination in one direction of travel.
Annual Permits
- One year duration from time of purchase.
- Legal Height only!
- 12' Wide
- Available with Legal, Green or Purple weight.
Maximum of Six-Month Duration. Basically a single trip permit for the delivery of the same load over the same route on a repeated basis.
Variance Load Permits
All applications over 14 feet in width, 135 feet in length, or on special hauling equipment which does not fit the Department's standard method of weight classification must be approved by special processing. Written route reviews are required from the applicant for heights greater than 17' 0".
